When I first began playing volleyball in 8th grade, I instantly fell in love with it. Being a student athlete, being apart of a team, showing up and putting in the work to get better with each practice has taught me to go further and reach higher. My first club season at Socal volleyball club, I ended up making the National team right off the bat and won 2nd place in our pool in the Junior National Championships. The following high school season, my sophomore year, I made varsity and was a starter for every game. I won the "Most Improved" award and was featured in the news after the CIF match. After that I moved to Wave Volleyball club in 2018, and made the 16'2s national team and had the opportunity to travel to Atlanta for the Big South tournament, Salt Lake City, Long beach, Las Vegas, and Detroit for JOs (taking 1st place and undefeated in the Long Beach tournament). After that season ended, I continued with varsity volleyball, and in the spring I played beach volleyball (club and school) and I was on the 1s team and made it to 2 rounds of playoffs with my partner, and beating the #1 ranked team in our divison. Now I am currently playing on Varisty for indoor in my senior year and am the serving middle for my team and a starter for all matches.
Looking to the future, I hope to see my self on a college level team, continuing to improve my skills, my volleyball IQ, my athleticism and putting in the work to get better and improve my team to win and achieve more. Being a middle blocker, I know how to play smart and aggressive at the same time, and a big strength on the net. I am a very competitive person, I love to win and I always push myself and my team to go hard with every match and every point. I bring an athletic strength to my team, a positive attitude, high energy, and a competitive influence. My team is like my family and I always encourage them and try to bring the best out of them on and off the court.
Having experience in both beach and indoor on completive teams, 3 years of varsity, 2 years of national club level, I know what to bring to a highly competitive team. What makes me stand out from any other middle, is that I have experience playing back row and I am a strong server, with 10 aces in the Las Vegas interventional tournament. My volleyball experiences and achievements will make for a smooth transition into the college level and I feel that I can impact any program and make any team stronger and better volleyball players.
