Haylee's Beach Vo...Personal Statement
As a freshman at Huntington Beach High School, I played varsity "Beach Volleyball" in the #1 slot (doubles). I have been a starter on my indoor high school team since my freshman year (varsity). I will graduate in 2024.
In 2020, I was nominated for the Under Armour All American showcase. In 2021, I made 1st team "All League", 1st team "All Conference" and the Conference MVP award while in High School. That same year, the Daily Pilot newspaper awarded me "The Player of the Year" of Orange County. That year, CIF listed me as one of the top 25 players in California.
Both my parents and my brother played at a high level and continue to love the game. In our family, volleyball is a "Life Sport".
I'm a very hard worker and highly competitive when it comes to academics and sports. I make friends easily and enjoy the camaraderie in a team setting. Winning is great but sometimes losing teaches us life's greatest lessons!
