Jacinda Ramirez '20 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing indoor volleyball since I was 10 and beach since I was 12. This year, I switched to the beach full time (except for high school). I have trained with Misty May-Treanor and her father, Butch, for the past four years, and joined Golden Coast Beach Volleyball Club last year. I also do strength and agility training with OC Fast Twitch. Some of my beach accomplishments include:

• Finished 2nd in BVCA’s during summer of 2018 (out of 159 16U teams)
• Earned AAA rating at age 15 
• Regularly place in the top three in USAV, AAU, CBVA and AVP First tournaments
• Made varsity for beach my freshmen year, worked my way up to the 1s pair, and have been there ever since

I am also an accomplished libero. In 2019, my high school won the CIF Southern Section Division 2 title and made it to state quarterfinals in Division 1; I was named All CIF Libero. In 2018, I was one of four sophomores on my high school varsity team. As starting libero, I was named to all tournament team of Lakewood Tae Kim Molten Invitational Tourney and received second team all league honors. I also received honorable mention in Prep Volleyball 2018 Sophomore 79 list.  In 2017, I was selected to the all-tournament team in 15-USA at GJNC, where my club team finished 5th.

I am a hard worker both on and off the court. I just finished my first semester of junior year at Los Alamitos High School with a weighted GPA of 4.1, including an honors course and an AP class. 

I love the sport of volleyball and would be excited to have the opportunity to play in college. Thank you for your consideration.
