Elise McFeeley '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I’m Elise! I am a 5' 8" Beach Volleyball Defender/Split Blocker, class of 2023. I’m currently a Sophomore at Milton High School, right outside of Atlanta, Georgia. I’ve been on Milton’s Varsity indoor team since my Freshman year. This year I was awarded an All-Region Honorable Mention as our team’s starting Libero. 

I currently play for A5 Beach’s travel club team. Before that, I played three years of indoor club for A5, (which is currently ranked the number three indoor volleyball club in the nation). While playing indoor, I advanced a level every year, was awarded a tournament MVP as a 13U, and was starting Libero for my 14U team. I was a team captain all three years at A5.

Over the last year, I’ve switched my focus to playing Beach. I love getting to incorporate all aspects of the game into my play. I enjoy working on hitting, setting, and blocking—areas I don't get to focus on as a Libero. I also love the general atmosphere of the game and the friendships that come out of all of the partner-work.

I’d like to play Beach Volleyball at a Division I college. I currently have a 3.7 weighted GPA, and am interested in a career in Orthodontics with an undergraduate degree in Biology. I’ve been on the Honor Roll throughout my school career and am on a Honors/AP track.

My coaches often tease me for always having a smile on my face and they consistently recognize me for my positivity, coachability and for always giving 110%. I look forward to working hard and earning my spot on a college team and being an asset any way I can. Thanks for reading!
