Sofia Kolbe '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Sofia Kolbe, I am a 6' split blocker for the class of 2023. I have been playing and competing in beach volleyball for the past 6 years as well as playing indoor for club and school teams for 8 years. Playing volleyball has shaped me into an athlete that is competitive as well as disciplined, but most importantly an athlete that has a love for the game. Along with being a hard working athlete I am also an outstanding student. I bring the same intensity from the court into the classroom to be the strongest student I can be. I am involved and dedicated to clubs at my school which are devoted to giving back to the community. When I am not at school or practice I am bettering my physical and mental self to be the greatest athlete and person I am capable of. I have a growth mindset which I will always carry with me as I go to the next level and will never settle but will constantly be striving to make myself better everyday.
