Hayden Garnett '23 Recruiting Profile

I immediately fell in love with beach volleyball when I played my first tournament a few years ago! I have played indoor since 7th grade- as an outside hitter and DS on high level club teams for the past several years and made Varsity as a freshman at my high school.  I played both indoor club and beach volleyball last year but decided to fully commit to playing beach this year as that is where I really excel.   I am excited to now be part of the College Athlete Program at Carolina Beach Volleyball Academy. My strengths on the beach court are my speed in the sand, vertical jump and versatility on the court. I am a hard worker and will do whatever it takes to improve my skills, get more time on the sand and become the best player I can be. Academics are very important to me so I have pushed myself by taking mostly honors and AP classes this year. When I’m not training or studying I enjoy coaching younger kids at my volleyball club and spending time with my friends and family!
