Mary Ryan Campbell '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi I'm Mary Ryan Campbell, class of 2026 at Cape Fear Academy in Wilmington North Carolina. I am looking for a college to get me the strong education I desire while also having a great environment for making friends, and of course playing the sport I love. I have large aspirations of someday becoming an architect and my own business manager. I want to give my future family the success and love my parents have given me through my character and my work. Throughout all of this, I desire to play the sport I love. Indoor and beach volleyball have been in my life for a long time and I never want them to fully leave my life. I feel that I am very committed in my attitude to everything I do and try to go out of my way to be kind to everyone. I am an only child and have grown to be very mature, especially with hanging around adults and parents most of my life. I work hard and attack everything that I am given with intent and drive which is what I think makes me  hard working. This paired with my maturity and kindness makes me not only a great teammate, but a great friend. I also am a highly talkative person who is loud and will stand up to lead no matter the situation. I am so interested in becoming a college athlete and am so excited for what the future brings for me as a player and person.
