Averie Threet '24 Recruiting Profile

Being the daughter of a successful high school volleyball coach I have seen so many different sides of the game. From sitting in the ball carts during practice when I was young to playing an important role on my varsity team I have seen the up and down sides of competitive sports. 

I was taught to always give my best both in the classroom and on the court. As a coaches kid you are constantly watched by the community and this pressure has pushed me to be the best version of myself I could be.

The sport of volleyball has been a passion of mine since I can remember- getting to play at the next level would be a dream come true! I know I will be an asset to any program I am a part of. My competitiveness, coach-ability  and my ability to build relationships with coaches and teammates is something I’m proud of!
