Jenna Elizarraras '22 Recruiting Profile

I have lived in Star, Idaho ( Boise area) all of my life. I love diving and have been diving at the local YMCA [LL1] since I was 8 years old. I am grateful for my family’s support of my love for diving and for my coach’s patience. I have been going to North Star Charter School since kindergarten. I am in my senior year. I know I am very lucky living in such a great community, but I also believe in the rule that “The harder I work the luckier I get” and I am motivated to reach my goals.

I came to diving from triathlon and I have been competing every year in USA Diving JO regionals and zones E since I was 10 years old. I enjoy being with my teammates from Boise diving club and I volunteer coach the beginner level kids. I wanted to learn more about the sport so I taught myself the Divemeets software and I run it at all home Boise State Swim and Dive meets. In June 2021 I became a certified lifeguard at the YMCA.

My goal now is to work hard in high school and to get accepted to a great college and be apart of an awesome diving team.
