Ava Gilroy '22 Recruiting Profile

I envision my college years to be a personal growth period. My goal is to continue to grow as an individual, student, and athlete. I believe this will be accomplished through collegiate diving and challenging academic programs. I plan and continue to be a competitive, driven, and positive influence both in and out of the pool. As a student-athlete ever since I was little, I've learned that devotion, persistence, and teamwork are critical assets to success. I've competed in numerous sports as a young kid, including competitive gymnastics. I trained level 7/8 until I transitioned into diving my 8th grade year and picked up quickly on the sport. I believe that with my love for competing, building and developing skills, and challenging myself every day would make me a good fit on a collegiate team.
