Alexa Walkovich '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alexa Walkovich and I am very excited to tell you  more about myself.  I  have always worked very hard as a student and an athlete.  I am a  member of the  French Honors Society and the National  Honors Society.  I started out as a competitive gymnast and reached level 8 in six years but then transitioned to diving with my older sister who eventually went to dive at The University of Akron.  I have improved every year at diving becoming 3 time district qualifier and District Champion 2021, 3 time state qualifier, 2 time All State (2019 & 2021), 2 time Northwest Ohio Aquatics Dive Champion (2020 & 2021), Northern Lake League Dive Champion 2021, All American 2021.  I was a USA Regional 3m Zone qualifier 2021 as well.  I would make an excellent recruit as I am very driven, hard working, and have shown improvement every year since I began diving less than four years ago.  My gymnastics background enables me to understand movement, spatial awareness, and control as well.  I am very excited to enter University and compete at a higher level!
