Personal Statement

My collegiate goals are not only to excel and grow within the volleyball community but also to succeed  in my education. Although this seems to be broad goals, I believe it is of utmost importance to maintain a healthy balance between sports and education. Success can be found in not only the morals and life skills you learn through the sport of volleyball but also the information gained through education. I believe I'm a fit candidate for college volleyball because I am well rounded in my balance of sport and education. I work diligently in every task put before me and constantly work to maintain a positive attitude. I work to stand out from other recruits by not only practicing to maintain my diligence and hard work but also practicing to make other characteristics a part of my every day life, that I may not always be as proficient in. I strive to better myself everyday and create new goals that allow me to excel in academics and volleyball. Success in an athlete is reached through diligence, a positive attitude, strong moral characteristics, a willingness to constantly work on goals not yet attained, and balancing sports and academics; all of which I strive for each consecutive day.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
