Angelica Orosco '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Angelica, I started diving officially when I was in 7th grade. I have been on the varsity team for my highschool for two consecutive years. 

 Currently I don't compete 3M springboard or in platform diving. I recently went to a UT dive camp this summer and have gained some experience in 3M platform diving and 3M Springboard diving. I can do all 5 basic dives off 3M platform and 3M springboard. To add to my 3M springboard experience I can also do a 403C and a 103C. I may not compete platform or 3M springboard now, however I am always up for the challenge to learn and excel in new areas of dive.

I enjoy dive because it gives me a sense of belonging and peace, when I'm up on that board it's all about the task at hand. Also, I've always been a thrill seeker and absolutely adore learning new tricks while very rarely being afraid. Even on my bad days I'm all about preserving and conquering my challenges as well as being a teammate for others to come to in times of need.

I'm a passionate and dedicated student as well as athlete. Outgoing and confident would be the best words to describe me because I'm always trying to get along with others even if I'm a bit of a goofball. I would love a college that I can participate in more than one extracurricular especially ones with leadership roles.  

I'm very excited for the opportunities that will come my way and hope that you as a coach will take interest in me!
