Hi! My name is Samantha Jones, and I go by Sam. I'm excited to meet you!
Diving has been my passion since I discovered it in the 7th grade. In addition to the challenge of executing the perfect dive, I love the feeling I get when I am in the middle of a dive, I enjoy the team aspect of diving. Working with a group of people who are all encouraging each other to do better and go farther than they thought is inspiring. Thanks to my coaches and my teammates, I learned quickly and qualified for the Varsity team at Magnolia High School. In my freshman year, I competed at Districts and Regions, and in my sophomore year, I was able to repeat my successes and improved my regional standing. In addition to my high school diving, I continue to advance to more complicated dives and place higher in club meets.
Outside of dive, my education is important. I am an Honor student, in the top 10% of my class. I have also been accepted into the International Baccalaureate program and my school's chapter of the English Honor Society. Outside of school and dive, I enjoy reading and hanging out with friends.
I'm glad you stopped by to read this, and I am looking forward to meeting you and learning more about your program!
