Jenna Schmitz '21 Recruiting Profile

Before I joined diving in high school, I was a gymnast for over 10 years. I gained ample experience in spatial and bodily awareness while building discipline, dedication, and an overall love for the thrill of improving myself and working with a team and coaches. Now as a high school athlete, I have taken these skills and devoted myself to balancing the new sport of diving and my demanding schoolwork. Not only have I taken up the challenge of trying a new sport, I have also enriched my life overall by learning from fresh eyes in the form of my newest teammates and coaches who have become my family. My goals for college and beyond are to continue my learning experience, perform highly in the academic world, and find a team to become my new family.
