Sports has always been a huge part of my life. I was a gymnast for 8 years and a level 8 gymnast when I decided to leave the sport in 2019. Freshmen year I joined my high school's dive team as I saw it as an easy transition from gymnastics. When I started practicing I quickly realized how fun this sport is. I love the adrenaline and dopamine that comes from diving, but doesn't include all the mental toughness and injuries that gymnastics came with. After Sophomore year of high school season I was not satisfied with my diving abilities so I took the problem into my own hands and joined club diving. As soon as I joined club dive I instantly fell in love with the sport. The feeling of wanting to go to practice each day is one of the best feelings in the world. Since joining club dive I have been improving every single day and trying to be the best athlete I can possibly be. The support you get from the diving community is something you can get nowhere else. All your teammates clapping and cheering after you smack on a dive shows all the support you'll ever need.
As a college diver and student athlete I hope to find a team that will always have my back as I also would have theirs. Having a college that suits me academically is just as important as the sport. I am currently interested in political science and business. I persevere both on the board and in the classroom. Being a student athlete for four more years will teach me countless more life lessons that will impact me for the rest of my life!
Diving upgrades that I am currently working on/haven't competed yet: 104b, 105c, 5124d, 5223d.
