Hi,
My name is Elizabeth Kim and I am currently a junior in high school. I started playing golf at the age of 5 and have continued to practice and improve my game despite all of my family's moves. Although I grew up in Southern California, I have lived in Boston, The Republic of Georgia, and now Alaska. Moving around a lot has helped me mature and learn how to make the most out of every opportunity whether it be in golf or academics. Since I started homeschooling in high school, I have not had the chance to play on a team and so I am very eager to work with other hardworking student-athletes and contribute to a team's success! My love for golf has caused me to continue to pursue it even though my circumstances have not always been the most ideal as a competitive golfer. Everyday I look for ways to get better as a golfer and as a person through practice and community service. I love working with kids and so I find any way to help my community by volunteering at the middle school and the Boys and Girls Club. I hope to build my work ethic by pursuing college golf and continue to learn from my coaches how I can be a better leader as I strive to ultimately become a teacher in the future.
