Hi! My name is Birdie Brown (yes my real name is Birdie) I am 17 years old, I love to play golf, and I want to continue to play throughout college. Golf has always been a huge part of my life and has given me the humble attitude that I have to this day. It has taught me so much more than any sport has about my attitude. These are lessons I can carry with me in my life. So far I am in my junior year of high school. My first two years on the golf team have been amazing. I was second in the league both years only being a half a point off of the leader who was two years my elder. I have also been all-league both years. This year, unfortunately there will not be a girls golf at my school but I am eligible to play in the section tournaments and I will be on the boys golf team in the spring. I also play in the first tee of greater Sacramento and I am last years tour champion. I also have played in a few USGA jr qualifiers. I still have many tournaments lined up for the rest of this year and I hope this season will be even better! While playing all this golf I also love school. I have maintained a 3.5 GPA and I am in many honors and AP courses. I have not taken the SAT or ACT yet but I am planning on taking it in the next few months. Thank you!
