My name is Claire Koleszar and I am a senior. I have played every match for my school's varsity golf team and have been captain for my junior and senior year season. I am dedicated to making sure that each player, including myself, gets the most out of their high school season, and enjoys playing for the school and with their teammates. I like to put others before myself and help them create opportunities and be successful with what they are doing. I am passionate about the game of golf and am proud of my achievements over the past four years on the team.
I am looking forward to applying and attending a university after I graduate from high school. I am hardworking and driven in both academics and in sports, as it is important to me to be successful and to create opportunities for myself. I enjoy being busy and balancing schoolwork, volunteering, sports, clubs, friends, and family. Throughout high school, I have taken many medical, science, and math classes, as I am interested in those subjects and plan on pursuing a career that involves one or more of them. It is important to me to have a good college experience, and to make the most out of everything that I can. I have always been driven to do well in school and be successful. I have challenged myself with many AP and honors classes, as well as pathways throughout my high school career. Throughout my high school career, I have maintained over a 4.0 GPA and have been volunteering and participating in organizations. I also enjoy creating new experiences with the people around me and my close friends. Apart from golf, I have played beach volleyball for a number of years, and enjoy competing in two different sports. I have played in national tournaments over the summer for volleyball, and enjoy competing against higher-level opponents.
