Golf has been an important part of my life since I began at the local First Tee Chapter when I was five years old. I am a coachable athlete, meaning that I take instruction and apply it whether it is to my swing or the mental aspects of the game. I would enjoy playing on a competitive team and look forward to building bonds with teammates. I have learned many valuable lessons playing golf that have helped me not only on course, but off course as well. These include being open to constructive criticism, persevering, and staying optimistic with an open mind knowing that each hole presents a new opportunity. I am looking forward to playing golf on a large stage as I was selected to play both the Pure Insurance Championship and TGR Junior Invitational this fall. Furthermore, as a scholar-athlete, I have learned to balance the demands of playing and practicing two different sports at the varsity level since I was a freshman, with studying and doing well academically. At the college level, I will focus on one sport, and the consistency will allow me to channel my focus and determination. I appreciate the opportunity to introduce myself and look forward to future communication.
Sincerely,
Kalea Hall
