Diversity, travel and athletics that’s me! I come from a diverse family of artist, engineers and creative people. I learned to cook and bake from my grandmothers and I’m sure I got my creative side from my grandfather who is a fine artist. Being from a family like this has completely shaped me to the person I am. Family has shaped me, but traveling has enriched me. I had the opportunity to live in Germany while my mom studied her Masters in Architecture Degree. During those 2 years, I studied at the Leipzig International School (LIS) and got to meet classmate/friends from all over the world. I’m so grateful for this as it sparked my interest in travel and learning about other cultures.
I’ve traveled to 6 countries and 11 states and I loved every place. One of my most favorite travel experiences was when we got to ski in the Austrian Alps, just outside of Salzburg. Beyond traveling I truly enjoy music! I will graduate having mastered the guitar. Currently I’m completing guitar 2 in High school. I also love art, in middle school I was accepted into the advanced art studio and learned many new skills! Specifically, 3D printing and pottery making.
Of course my main passion and focus is Golf. I was introduced to golf by my Grandfather early but didn’t get serious until I was 12! My journey in sport allowed me to try, tennis, swimming and I even tried out for basketball team (without success). But it was golf that kept my interest and that felt the most natural! Golf maintains my competitive spirit, but also teaches me total patience and honor. I hope to be apart of a strong competitive and high ranked college golf team and I also hope I can be a golf influencer; I’d like to inspire young girls to play golf and to show individuals how complex, challenging and fun the game is.
On top of my golf aspirations, I’d like to achieve higher grades in high school as well as take more challenging classes. Because I’m so shy, I’d like to feel more confident in everything I do!
