2021 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I will be the hardest working player on your team. I always work to win every shift and influence the game. I was told I have good hockey sense and I am a very reliable player. I am currently a Senior at Cypress Bay High School and have been playing hockey for 7 years. In middle school I qualified for Duke Tip State Recognition and was in NJHS. I am taking honors, AICE and AP classes and have learned to maintain high grades as well as have time for hockey. I am ranked #115 in the class of 1203 students and have a weighted GPA of 5.03. I am playing for U19 Florida Alliance Girls Tier 1 team. Our team qualified to go to US Nationals four years in a row - and seeded at #1 spot 2 years ago. I think we would have won the Gold at Nationals that year if it were not for COVID quarantine. Our team has won numerous tournaments throughout the last two years. Until recently I also played with boys teams on the Golden Wolves and I am captain for my high school varsity ice hockey team. I have a 1520 SAT and 35 composite ACT.
