I am a 5'4" golfer from Honolulu, Hawaii and will graduate in 2018. I've been on the Punahou School varsity golf team since freshman year. For the past three years our team was able to win the state title, as well as the conference title twice. This past year I was voted the Most Inspirational Player of our season. It was a great feeling knowing I brought a positive and uplifting vibe to our team.
Coming into high school I was unsure on where I wanted to go with golf, but after playing with a supportive team I realized I wanted to focus on golf so that I could have an opportunity to play in college. Two summers ago, I began to seriously focus on golf, and my scores consistently came down into the mid 80's. Last summer I continued working on my game and my scores were able to drop again, and now I'm consistently shooting in the 70's and low 80's. I'm always trying to improve my game because golf is a sport where you need to remain committed. I'm doing my best to stay focused in golf and keep trying to better myself.
I would like to attend a college that will provide a slight challenge with academics and athletics. I'm interested in a business program and possibly a psychology program ! I'm open to most locations, and it would be nice to have a great "college town" feel.
