Ciara Rattana '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ciara Rattana. I am currently a Junior at Lyons Township H.S. class of 2014. I have been golfing all of my life, well since the age of 5. I live in Illinois as of now, but moved here in 2008 from Las Vegas, Nevada. I began with 1st tee and playing in the Southern Nevada Jr. Golf Tour. Now I'm here playing in national tournaments. I love the game of golf, but also know how important school work can be as well. During the golf season I do my best to keep my gpa up and participate in multiple clubs at school, as well as focus on improving my game. I believe my game has come a long way and I believe I have the potential to grow even more. From my freshman year I went from having an 85 average to my junior year of a 78 scoring average, and still looking to bring it down lower. I am also a 3 time state qualifier, 2 time all-conference, 2 time all-regionals, and a 1 time all-sectionals. I still have 1 more year to go and am looking foraward toward the future, as well as hopefully gaining the opprotunity to play golf at the collegiate level. My lowest 9 hole round was a 32, 4 under par. My lowest 18 hole round was even par 72. Overall, I am very dedicated to school and golf and hoping to achieve in both areas.
