Maeve McDougal '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Maeve McDougal, a Junior year golfer from Lyons Township High School. I love sports more than I can explain, especially golf. I've played golf casually for as long as I can remember, but I truly found my love for the sport during my Freshman season. I've played basketball at a  competitive level for a long time, and it was a very important part of my life until I started playing golf on a serious level as well. I began to enjoy golf more than basketball, which I never thought possible. Being involved in sports and being on teams has been an extremely beneficial and crucial part of my life, especially being on my high school golf team. In general, golf brings people together more than any other sport, which is one of the reasons why I love it so much and why I sincerely hope to continue my golf career in college.
