Laura Ringo '15 Recruiting Profile

I am seventeen years old and I have been playing golf competitively since I was eleven.  I have been on the Lemont High School Varsity golf team since my freshman year playing as the #2 golfer on my team.  My 18-hole average and handicap has dropped each year as I continue to improve my short game.  I finished the 2013 season with an 87 average and a 9.6 handicap.  I hope to achieve the goal of consistently shooting in the low 80's in 2014 and break into the 70's.  I have recently been named the Captain of the Varsity Golf team at Lemont High School.

I just completed my Senior year Golf Season by being named the 2014 MVP for the Lemont High School Golf team.

I love the game of golf and that is why I strive to work extra hard in the off-season on my putting and chipping drills.  If I could spend my college years playing golf on a team that would be a dream come true.  I am focused and determined enough to continue to get high grades in school and participate on a Varsity sport.
