Personal Statement

My golf journey has taken me to a place I did not know existed. I started playing golf in the 5th grade so that I could drive the golf cart, now I can’t imagine my life without golf. My game has improved by leaps and bounds since those early days, thanks to my coaches who have helped me with my swing and course management, and my parents, who drive me to all my matches and lessons and encourage me at all times.

Now I want to use all that I have learned about life and golf to help a university succeed on the golf course, while I succeed in the classroom. I know that my strong family ties, my “lead from the front” and by example mentality will help the team achieve goals of winning championships and help me earn my degree.

By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
