I am a 5'10", left handed, right side hitter for Trinity High School.
I also have the ability to hit and successful score with my right hand when necessary. I am also flexible with positions as I have played middle hitter when needed. I am currently a junior and I am on varsity. I have played for two years on the Triple Ace travel club volleyball where I have secured my position as a right side hitter. I have recently joined Energy Volleyball club and this will be my first year with them as a right side hitter,
I have received the "Most Improved" player award consecutively for the past two years during my freshmen and sophomore year on my high school volleyball team. I am a committed and highly disciplined athlete on and off the court. I have also received the award of all academic for my volleyball team, keeping a 3.00 GPA during my volleyball career. I have a positive attitude and seek out opportunities to encourage my teammates. I workout when I am not in season to maintain a healthy lifestyle and to stay fit. I am responsible for waking myself up at 5:00 am, to go to practices or tournaments. I rarely miss practice and I enjoy competing.
I care deeply about my academics and I strive to succeed in all of my courses. I am currently in the International Baccalaureate program for all of my required core classes. I am maintaining a 4.25/5.00 GPA. My passion is to become a Trauma Surgeon. I was selected by the science department to win the "Excellence Academic award for Exceptional Achievement in Biology". I am proud to say that I was one of only two freshmen selected to win an academic award. I have won Blazer of the Month, an award for five students to be selected, who shows respect in the school community. I work hard to be disciplined in managing my time between academics and volleyball. My goal is to study Pre-Med in college. An excellent college medical program is very important to me.
I have a passion for learning.
