My name is Izzy Hassebrock and I have been playing golf my whole life. I have always grown up playing multiple sports, but in High School I limited it to just golf and basketball. I have won nationals on both my basketball and soccer teams, but have chosen to pursue golf. I have been accomplishing goals that I have had since I was younger, such as my most recent: win the Illinois state title! I have improved dramatically from the beginning of the summer to now.
I won Regionals shooting 67(-4). I won Sectionals shooting 69(-3). I won State shooting 76(+4), 71(-1). My high school scoring average for this year was 74.
I have been working hard this year and putting the hours in both on and off of the course in order to achieve success. I work with a swing coach, personal trainer, and sports psychologist to keep my game at its sharpest. I have been playing competitive tournaments since I was 8 years old. I have attended several golf camps that have helped me gain knowledge and experience. I have worked with some of the best golf instructors at the Sea Island Golf Performance Center.
It is my dream to play golf at a collegiate level and I work hard in school and on the course to achieve this goal. I am on the high honor roll and have received academic and athletic awards for my hard work. I participate in debate club, Spanish Club, Social Justice Club, Key Club, and I am a Student Ambassador. I am an active member in my community and receive many service hours.
