My name is Macy Beeson. I am a left-handed golfer from Indiana. I began playing golf at a very young age with my dad. I began tournament play at age 10 and have competed all over the country. I competed in the U.S. Kids World Championship twice, a goal I set for myself at a young age after watching the documentary "The Short Game."
My junior golf career has allowed me to compete in GolfWeek, Hurricane Junior Tour, AJGA, and other events. I have dominated in the state of Indiana in the Indiana Golf Association. I also play the Indiana Women's Golf Association events, playing collegiate yardage. I had a Top 5 Finish in the Indiana Women's Open in 2021 and Top 15 Finish in the Indiana Women's Amateur in 2021.
As a High School Golfer, I have learned to value the team aspect of golf. Although it has always been an individual sport, the relationship with my coach and teammates has been awesome. My team made an appearance at the Indiana High School State Finals for the first time during my Freshman year. As a Sophomore, I dominated the high school golf season. I was the medalist at the County, Sectional, Regional and State Finals. It was an awesome year. My junior year also proved to be successful, earning third place at regional and first at the state finals. I am the 7th woman in Indiana history to win back-to-back state titles. I am so thankful for the opportunity to play golf and represent my school, community and other female golfers!
Golf is a passion. It fuels me. There is something rewarding about thinking about a golf shot and watching it happen just like you wanted it to. Competing drives me. I learned to compete at an early age, often with competitors that were older than me.
I seek to play at the collegiate level and want to compete for the ability to play. I want to earn my spot on the team. I want a coach that motivates me to be a better person, student, and athlete. I want peers and teammates that also instill greatness in me.
