Emma Belke '21 Recruiting Profile

Just last year, my Junior year,  I started playing golf and love it.  I never played before in my life. I became #2 on our team of five and won most improved at the end of the season.  This year I'm already our #1 golfer and am working hard to continue to improve. We only play 9 holes in our high school matches. I went from hitting in the high 60s-low 70s to this year hitting in the high 50s-low 60s. I hope to continue to play golf in college even if on a club team or for leisure.

I have been swimming competitively with my twin sister for about 8 years both at our community pool, a local swim club and now in high school. It is nice that we swim different events so we can cheer each other on. I started at the varsity level in high school my freshman year and continue to be a top performer for our team. I love swimming and have been told I have a natural talent for it. I strongly hope to swim at the college level too.
