I was introduced to golf at the age of 4, but I didn’t start to compete until I was 14. Because of my late start, I had to catch up to my competitors. I work very hard everyday to improve my level of play, and my dedication and drive sets me apart from others. Not only am I willing to work hard on the course, but I am also willing to work hard in my training and my academics. Golf is my passion and I dedicate my time/will do whatever it takes to over reach my goals. My biggest goal currently is to play collegiate golf after I graduate high school. I will graduate at Shawnee Mission South in 2022 and I compete with the best athletes in my area. Though I currently lack experience, I am one of the top players in Kansas and I work everyday because I am always looking to improve my game. I have given 110% effort in all sports I have played. My competitive surroundings gave me leadership skills and has made me very coachable. When I make goals for myself I work hard to achieve them and I don’t give up. My strength on the course is my length and consistency. In the past year, my most improved aspect of my game is my short game. In just one year I went from having an average score of 92 during my sophomore season, to having an average score of 77 during my junior season. I plan on staying focused to improve my overall game because I want my game taken to the next level. College golf brings challenges, unique opportunities and life experiences that can not be found anywhere else. I know the challenges college golf can bring, but I am willing to take on the challenges for the impact it will bring on my life.
