I am looking for a school that has a good Environmental Science and Engineering program. From a young age, I have always wanted to experiment and build. I am a rising junior in high school, and currently have a 4.0+ GPA. I’ve always put a lot of effort into things I am interested in. For example, I have been a Girl Scout since I was 5 years old and am currently working towards one of the highest awards, the Silver Trefoil Award.
I have enjoyed playing golf since I was 8. I got into golf because of both of my grandfathers, my sister and my dad. I learned that golf provides a great opportunity for building camaraderie and self discipline. I have been playing in tournaments for about 4 years. I have been the captain of my high school varsity team as a freshman, sophomore and junior. I won the Women’s Prince George’s County Championship during my freshman and sophomore years and placed second in my junior year. Freshman year, my team won the County Championship.
I believe I would be a great addition to a collegiate golf program. I am a team player. I take criticism well and I look forward to improving my golf skills.
