I, one day want to get my masters degree in teaching and I want to become an interior designer. I would love to play college golf to continue playing competitive golf from high school. I love being part of a team. I have good quality's that might make me different than most people. For starters I was adopted, by my loving parents, and I do struggle from time to time with some mental health issues but in the last year I have had a lot of help from my school, friends, parents, and therapist. Golf has made me a stronger person and helped me deal with some of these issues. Since I am adopted and struggle with mental health, I don't want to be seen as the person who doesn't like herself, because that is not true, I have a good personality and I am always nice to people because I know it can be hard not having some friends you can trust. And I can always trust my golf teammates. I am a very patient person and I have a younger sister with Dyslexia and I have seen how it can be difficult for her to learn but she doesn't let that stop her from doing what she loves to do. When it comes to athletics I have always been able to pick up on things quickly. I did dance for about 8 years and I am on the school cheerleading team. I have been golfing for about 5 years now. Since my biological parents were very young when they had me, they made poor decisions in taking care of us. Their alcohol and drug abuse contributed to our struggles with our learning disabilities, but it isn't a bad thing because if there is anything I have learned from my younger sister is, it's that you don't give up on yourself and if you fail the first time that gives you more of a reason to fight harder.
