My goal is to play college golf and continue my strong academic career by obtaining a Pre-Law degree and continue into law school. I am a detail oriented and driven student with a strong academic portfolio as showcased in my GPA. In and out of the classroom I use my strong work ethic, communication skills, and high standards to propel myself to the next level. Upon starting my freshman year of high school I entered a new school district. This school district did not have a golf program. My strong desire to continue to play the sport I had been playing since the age of eight, led me to advocate for the start of a program at my high school. The inaugural season was thwarted due to COVID-19, but the team has continued to play together throughout quarantine. My determination and strong work ethic is also highlighted in my difficult classes. It is through my Criminal Justice class, I learned key skills to excel my ability to communicate and advocate for my position. Being able to develop an opinion with your team on the spot can be chaotic. Strong communication skills help navigate this chaos. Having high standards means pushing myself above and beyond, always trying to better myself. I am constantly trying to better myself in any way possible. This could be through extra practice, more time on the course, or taking lessons from LPGA swing coaches. I anxiously await what my future in golf entails.
