When I think of my future in collegiate golf I see myself as a valuable team member and hopefully will have the opportunity to be a leader. I enjoy being an outgoing and energetic student athlete, but I'm always willing to work hard. I have had peaks and valleys throughout my youth and high school golf careers that have helped round my game both physically and mentally. Most recently, I needed to change my swing between my sophomore and junior seasons. This presented many challenges in retraining my physical memory, as well as my mental strength. I posted some bad scores during this transition period. Knowing in the long run that I would be better for the swing change and now having rounded the corner on getting back to good scores has me optimistic about my final season at Timberland High School in 2022 and beyond. Learning to manage both academics and sports on an elevated level has been a challenge, but one that I welcome. I look forward to working hard and enjoying my journey as a collegiate student athlete.
