When I was 8 years old my dad bought me my first set of golf clubs. We would play around with them in the backyard, but I didn't really start learning how to play until summer before my Freshman year in high school. I spent my summer taking lessons and playing in as many tournaments as I could. I went from shooting 140 to shooting 90, my career low this season. I have proven to be very coach-able. I go to practice or to my lessons and I can take what I learn and use it during competition.
I set 3 goals for my Sophomore year. Make it on the Varsity Golf Team, break 100, and make it to the Nebraska State Championship. I accomplished all 3 this year. I set high goals for myself each season and I practice and play hard to achieve them. I am the youngest player on my team and I am fortunate enough to be on a great team where my teammates encourage and challenge me. My team placed 1st at Districts for the first time in my schools history and placed 7th at the State Championship. I am looking for a program that will continue to challenge me and help to make me the best golfer I can be.
