I started playing golf around seven years old with my family who all play. I look up to my parents who have influenced me my whole life, and also my grandpa who was a great golfer. Around eight years old I started to play more serious when I realized I loved golf. When I joined the JV golf team in seventh grade at my high school I saw all the older kids, including a division I athlete on the team, I strived to become better and work hard to achieve my goals.
As a varsity athlete now I still strive to become better and better. It was shown when I was awarded most improved player the past two years on my high school team. Playing in past tournaments including the Drive, Chip and Putt has made me a better player seeing that I have a lot to work for and not everything is easy. I strive to be one of the best and am working my hardest in high school to achieve my future goals.
