I started playing with my dad as a 3 year old in our front lawn, but as I grew up I went into other directions and Golf ended up being on the back burner of my mind. When I was about 11 I picked it up again and I was able to catch on very quickly. I did the Drive, Chip, and Putt competitions, the PGA junior league, and Golf camps throughout the Summer. I started Varsity Golf in 8th grade which was the first year my school had a girls golf team. From 8th grade to now, I have made it to sectionals every year, except 9th grade being that Covid ended the season early. I average shooting in the low to mid 40's on 9 holes despite some off days. I average shooting in the high 80’s/low 90's for 18 holes. I am a very hard worker and am planning on decreasing them as I further my experience. I am extremely disciplined being that I teach and train as a 2nd degree black belt in Martial Arts and we value discipline very highly. I am always thriving to be better and always strive to be the best I can. This year (my junior year) I placed 8th at my sectionals tournament and am going to the New York State championship. this season, my lowest score I shot in a match was a 42 but when In practice, I was able to shoot a 40. When I set my mind to something, I do not back down no matter what. I am an avid weight lifter which helps with my swing and strength when it comes to distance and control. Since I picked up golf again when I was 11, I have dreamed to take it to the next level and college golf is where it is at. I set my mind to that I am will not back down when it comes to showing what I got and how I can provide to your team.
