Hello everyone! I have been playing golf since I was three. I am a committed young man with much potential in achieving my dream to play golf in college and then professionally. I love to play golf but my main focus is education. Throughout my younger years I would play recreational with my father and cousin. My parents saw amazing potential in my swing at a really young age which boost my confidence to the highest. It wasn't until the beginning of middle school where my dream and future really started to settle in. I started to take golf more seriously because I saw so much potential in myself to start taking my game to another level. My first step in the amazing journey was joining my school golf team. As an 8th grader on my school's varsity golf team, I made it to the number 1 spot and received an MVP award at the end of the year. This is when I saw a huge growth in my game and started to search out and look for more opportunities. I won my first junior tournament at my local golf course and then joined the Metropolitan PGA Jr. the summer of 2019. The 2021 summer will mark my 3rd year in the Met PGA Jr program. I joined PGA Jr. League and was mistakenly put into the U13 group. I really enjoyed playing with younger golfers that were seeking the same potential that I had as a kid. The silver lining to this oversight was becoming a mentor to the younger group. The kids parents on my team and the other team took the time to say how thankful and grateful they were for teaching their children how to play the game golf. Put my golf game to the side, receiving those wonderful complements showed myself that I don't just play golf, I teach golf. Skipping to the world today, I am now on the 2021 Varsity Golf Team and ready for a great season. I am really looking forward to all the tournaments and programs I will be attending during the 2021 Summer.
One of my most important aspects of my life along with golf is school. Education is the key to success. I am a learn award recipient in 8th grade as well as 3rd place finisher at my schools poetry slam. I have received Principal's Honor Roll and High Honor Roll multiple times and have been noticed in my school for my outstanding accomplishments. Throughout all my middle school and high school years, I am an active member in Future Business Leaders of America and hope to continue my journey for the rest of my high school years. I attended the 2019 National Leadership Conference in Washington D.C. I will try my best to compete in State competitions through FBLA. I was elected Vice President in 8th grade for the 7th and 8th grade student council. I was also elected Secretary for my freshman class in 2019. Finally, I am now a representative for my sophomore class in the 9 - 12 grade student Council. Your future is a big part of your dreams and well being. I have had a dream to be an Aerospace Engineer for the longest time. Aviation is the definition of my family past. Both of my grandfathers flew in the military and my uncle flew international for the airlines. Most importantly, my number one idol. My father has been a big part off my growth in not just golf but in life. He insired me to have a dream and a goal with life.
