I have aspirations to become a speech pathologist. What makes me a great candidate for any college team is my leadership skills on and off the course. I am the president of several community organizations as well as the captain of my current golf team. With leadership comes great responsibility. What I have learned the most while in these roles is that you win and lose with dignity and respect. What makes me different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics is that I truly believe that your athletic abilities and academics might get you into the college but your character will keep you there. The ability to get along with others, listen to other peoples opinions without judging them and to work cooperatively are life long skills that last well into adulthood.
