August 2022 Personal Statement
My name is Lilianna Carcel, I am starting my senior year of high school. I have been playing golf for 9 years. I have been the number one golfer on my varsity team since freshman year and I have been named conference champ the last two years as well. I have a passion for golf and want to continue my golf career at the college level. I spend every day at the course working on perfecting my game. I not only want to do well in the game of golf but share it with others. Outside of golf, I am also on the girls' varsity basketball team at Asheville High. I also enjoy school and carry just above a 3.6 GPA. The characteristics that set me apart from other golfers are my drive, passion, and my willingness to work hard and continue to learn.
