I started playing sports when I was 5 years old. I have always been an athletic person who loves to stay active and work hard at everything I do. My main sports were golf and tennis which I played competitive in both. I had great endurance, knowledge and experience in both sports which made me share an equal love for both.
As I grew older, I knew that I wasn’t going to be able to achieve the next level in any sport if I couldn’t fully commit to one. It was a very difficult choice but I followed what my heart enjoyed the most and it was golf.
I love analyzing the course, understanding and strengthening my mental energy, and competing against other amazing female athletes from all over. High school golf has let me enjoy golf from a team aspect, and made me love it even more. I thrive for the comradery and the accountability we provide for each other. All of these things are why the game of golf is something I truly value in my life.
I work hard not only on my golf game but also academically. I am active in school events and fundraisers as well as volunteer at our local church. My goal is to play team golf at a collegiate level and to push myself to be the very best I can be, to play at my full potential. This year will be spent continuing to focus on my golf development and aligning my goals with my academic journey.
