I am a 16 year old student with an unweighted GPA of 4.0 /weighted GPA of 4.25 in my junior year at Hickory Ridge High School. I am active in YoungLife, have worked at Pelican's Sno Balls and Modish Nail Salon and tutor a Middle School student in math and science. I am a member of DECA, Student Council, Beta Club and NHS and I have played varsity golf on the HRHS Lady Bulls Women's Golf Team for three years. I play in regional and national tournaments with PKBGT, NJGA, TYGA and CGA and am an Ace Level Participant at The First Tee of Greater Charlotte. One of my favorite things to do is coach Teeny Tee, Player, Par and Girls Golf classes and camps at several sites within my chapter. I am an LPGA Girls Golf member and have served on an LPGA Girls Golf Advisory Committee to help plan events and activities to engage more girl golfers at my First Tee chapter. By winning essay contests I had the opportunity to attend an LPGA Leadership Conference at Westchester Country Club in Rye, NY and a golf clinic with Annika Sorenstam at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, FL. I played basketball and volleyball in middle school and enjoy being creative through photography, music and ceramics. I like spending time outdoors playing golf, hiking and skiing and spending time with family and friends. I have traveled to many different countries and my dream is to live and work overseas. All of my core classes have been Honors classes and this year I am taking an AP class and two classes through Rowan Cabarrus Community College. I enjoy Business and Technology and would like to find a career that would incorporate both. This summer I was awarded scholarships to attend The Pinehurst Junior Golf Academy and The First Tee Game Changers Academy Honoring Joe Louis Barrow, Jr. where I met other golfers from around the country, developed my golf game and learned skills that will help me to become a leader in my school, on my team and in community. I was recently selected for the HV3 Mentorship Program and I am working on my ACE Project for the First Tee. My goal is to play at the PURE Insurance Championship this fall. I want to find a coach that challenges me to be better on the course and as a person and a team that gives me the opportunity to continue to develop my golf and leadership skills.
