2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I started golfing 9 years ago when my parents signed me up for a kids golf camp and I haven’t stopped ever since. I even encouraged my mom to take golf lessons so we could golf together. It wasn't long before I was competing in my first tournaments at 10 years old. Over the years I have grown a passion for the game of golf and strive to be better every day.
Golf has taught me how important it is to practice purposefully and have patience. It also has taught me to always try and stay positive and have a growth mindset. I have a quiet demeanour both on and off the course, but I am always ready to take on challenges
As I prepare for college over the next couple years, I plan to continue working hard at improving my game as well as maintaining my academic success.
