Sarah Cohen '25 Recruiting Profile

Ever since the age of 5 years old, golf has been a sport that is always on my mind. Wether at a young age watching the pros on TV or at the age of 6 getting my first set of clubs, golf has been my heart and soul. Since that young age, my past 2022 season was something to remember, as I learned important lessons about hard work and how putting in the time will show fantastic results. Wether I was shooting a 79 in a local Colonial League event, playing in as many Philly Junior Tour tournaments as I could, or spending the day practicing on my swing and training, golf has been a central part of my year. Putting in this hard work continued to pay off, as I marched into my 2022 Germantown Academy golf season finishing tied for 6th place individually shooting a 37 (+1) in an Inter-ac invitational. Off of the course, academics is extremely important to me. I am constantly working hard to see myself grow inside the classroom, finishing this past interim with a 4.0 GPA. Similarly, I participate in many clubs. CSO, KTK (Kids Teaching Kids), The Travis Manion Foundation, Patriot Ambassador Tours, and Germantown Academy Upper School Tutoring Program, are all clubs that I work hard to be a part of. Not only am I putting in many hours a week on the golf course, but also putting many hours and hard work into my academics, and being a part of the community. When I look into the future at college, my goal and dream is to be a collegiate athlete. I believe that any coach that would take a chance having me on there team will see how hard I work, and the grit that I display. I also find coaches advice to be extremely important, as my coaches now would in turn say I am a very coachable athlete. I adore every second I get to spend training for golf on the course and in the gym, and I am looking forward to the coming spring season as I train this winter.
