Hi, my name is Kennedi Land. I have been playing golf since i was 13 years old. I have always been into watching the PGA and some college matches and it made me want to be one of those amazing players one day too.
I have many collegiate goals and asspirations but some the ones i'm mainly focused on are, growing in my independence, attending a small college, teaching or working with youth or nursing. I also want to attend a college were I can push myself to do stuff I never thought I was capable to do in the classroom and on the golf course.
Even though my main sport is golf, I play many other sports like basketball and volleyball and have maintained a great sportsmanship and have been captin in all three.
Some of my golf goals following that are improve in putting and have a longer yardage. I'm positive about the outcome of my game, I'm coachable, I have good leadership and i'm even keel.
When it comes to anything I do in life I commit to improving in myself, I am diverse because i am involved in extracurricular activities. I'm also on the National Honors Society and Student Concil for my high school. I also volunteer at my public library during the summer to help out with 3rd graders reading skills before they go back to school.
I am open to all options when it comes to colleges and I want to find the right match. I hope to become a great role leader and example to everyone one day and make my community, coaches, and parents proud of what I can accomplish.
