Personal Statement

I began playing tournament golf in second grade with U.S. Kids' Golf and then the South Carolina Junior Golf Association (SCJGA). I've been starting on the Lugoff-Elgin Boys' High School Varsity Golf team since 7th grade. Making it to the quarter finals of the USGA Junior Girls at Lake Merced Golf Club in California and playing on two winning US Kids Golf World Cup teams are my favorite golf memories. Ideally, I would like to play college golf in the south and pursue a B.S. in Business/Marketing and Communications. When I play, I focus on playing the course one shot at a time. I try to always have a positive attitude and a smile. My handicap is currently +3.7. Off the course, I am an A student, a leader in my church's youth group, and play the trumpet. I'm 5'2", 120 pounds. I like to stay active by exercising, hiking and bike riding. I would enjoy hearing from you! Thanks. Kelli
