My passion for golf began at age 10, sparked by my brother’s influence, and has been a driving force in my life ever since.
I have participated in The First Tee, Jr PGA, SDGA Jr Tour, Sanford Series Tour and youth programs at my local golf course in Aberdeen SD, where I developed my skills and love for the game.
I earned a starting position on our Varsity golf team in seventh grade placing 26th at the state tournament. I have since qualified for the State Tournament every year since and placing as high as 6th.
The past three years I have led my team to win the NEC Conference and earned medalist honors at each tournament. My team has also won the Region 1A Championship the past two years.
In my golf game I pride myself on being strong mentally. If I hit a bad shot I am able to forget about it and move on to the next shot. Often times I make the smart play to get out of a bad situation rather than trying to hit a hero shot.
As I look forward to graduating in 2026 from Aberdeen Roncalli High School, I plan to pursue a degree in Finance, balancing my academic goals with my aspirations of playing college golf. my grades in school are as important to me as playing college golf.
