I have been playing golf since elementary school, however I didn't begin to understand what golf was until I was in middle school. Then two years later, my freshman year of high school, was when I started to take private swing lessons. I feel like I have been able to be easily molded, and taught how to truly play golf in only a few short years. My swing has greatly improved from a wacky hack at the ball, to a smooth approach do to my dedication to practicing, but also to my swing coaches.
During my high school career, I've had three different head golf coaches, and three different private swing coaches. Despite a seemingly lack of consistency, this has been a blessing in disguise. I've learned how to adapt to new coaching styles, and consequently learned how other, more mature, people approach golf.
I'm hoping to be able to continue to play the sport I love, and that has taught me so much throughout college, and wherever else it may lead me.
